Outdoorphoto and Campworld’s Big5 Group of Caravan and Camping Stores have announced the launch of an exciting, new photographic contest:

Naturally, given the nature of the business in which Campworld’s Big5 Group operates, all photos of a wildlife, nature or pictorial content may be entered. Running throughout 2012, photographers may enter four images per month – for free. Every month, three highly-commended images will go forward to the finals, which will be held at the end of the year. On certain months, there will be "Bonus Image" entries, in which case more than one image may be entered. The month's entry form will show the bonus entries for that month.

Photographers are encouraged to send their images on a monthly basis to increase their chances. Once the three images for a month have been selected, that month will be closed and those three images will be sent through to the finals.

The competition ends in December 2012 and winners will be announced early in 2013.

Open to all outdoor photo enthusiasts, whether amateur or professional, the competition boasts a range of fantastic prizes that are likely to get just about everyone snapping away!

But there’s something for everyone! Besides the impressive prizes that will undoubtedly motivate any outdoor enthusiast, spot prizes will also be given away to keep the excitement levels up! What’s more, each entrant will also qualify for a “Big5 Loyalty Award” which will entitle him/her to a 7.5% discount voucher on camping and accessory purchases (excluding in house specials) throughout 2012 at any Campworld’s Big5 outlet. 

Supported by Caravan & Outdoor Life magazine and SACCTN Marketing cc, (caravanparks.com) this is not a competition for the best or most consistent photographer, but rather for anyone who is able to capture that MAGIC MOMENT.
